Smaller than most males his age, Ryoma wears a pair of shorts and a tight-fitting wrap shirt over it. His weapon of choice is the manriki-gusari, which was a chain weighted on both ends, the entire weapon being slightly longer than the width of his shoulders. Because of the weapon he chose, he has to wear gloves - one hand fingerless and the other fully covered - along with his attire, though he doesn't actually have to since he's used to the pain from the friction, but he feels that he gets better control with the gloves.
special ability;
Ryoma is able to leech off other's powers with a mere touch (like Rogue in X-Men), though it only lasts until the next person he touches. This makes him a versatile team member to have, though certain skills don't work well on him, one example being Yagyuu's ability to change energy flows, since Ryoma himself isn't a medical-nin and doesn't have the required knowledge of one.
He can also summon a female cat which he named Karupin, who despite her looks can be rather fearsome.
history;
Ryoma's father is the retired ninja known as 'Samurai Nanjirou' in his days, though the reason is unknown. Since young, he was trained in the art of the ninja by his father, specializing in katana weaponry. When he entered the academy however, he got tired of everyone calling him 'the Samurai's son' and started to learn another weapon instead. He graduated from the academy at 11, moving up to chuunin at 12 where he stayed for a few years before finally applying for the jounin examination and passing easily.
His goal as a ninja is to create a name for himself, one larger than 'Samurai Nanjirou'.
